Pediatricians, that is, child doctors, state that potty training for a kid is best done around age 3 for the kid. If you do it earlier or later it is said that there can be adverse pychological consequences for the child. To potty train the kid at age 3 you must build or purchase a kid size potty chair with a plastic bowl underneath where the shit or piss of your kid goes. You must help wipe off any shit left on the kid until he or she knows how to do it for him or herself. Once you introduce the potty chair to the kid and basically show him or her how to use it, you then use a training diaper which is a cottom thick type of underwear, and you stop using ordinary diapers for the kid. When the kid is big enough, probably around age 4, you then introduce him or her to the adult toliet in the bathroom. Good Luck!
